Michael C. Kenyon, age 77, of Dayton, passed away at home on November 19, 2023. Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 25, 1946 to the late Daniel and Jean Kenyon.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Paul Kramer; wife, Brenda Kenyon; and his daughter, Kelly Kenyon.
He is survived by daughter, Kimberly Russell; son, Michael Kenyon; grandchildren, Joshua (Emily), David, Evan, Melanie, Kyra, Lily, Bradie; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Gracelynn, Lucas and Harper; as well as multiple brothers and sisters.
Michael retired from TransFreight after 25 years, formerly a volunteer firefighter for Kettering Fire Department for 10 years. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, watching war movies, reading Mac Bolin books, and working on the house.
He was ornery, caring and loving in his own way. Michael enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation (200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131) or to the Alzheimer's Association (https://shorturl.at/acvz7).
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Woodland Dayton's Mausoleum Chapel (118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH 45409), where funeral services will begin at 2:00pm. Burial to follow.
