Michael "Mike" Milford Jones, age 74, of Kettering, Ohio, found peace on October 22, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Milford and Lillie Mae Jones. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Kathleen Brown- Jones and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mike is survived by his children Michael Jones II, Matthew Jones, Melody Jones; sister Louise Estes; niece Amanda Thacker and her daughters Samantha and Anna Grace; lifelong friends Jon and Jan Wannamaker and many other cousins and friends.
Mike graduated from Kettering Fairmont East High School and Ohio University. Music was always a large part of Mike's life and he loved playing guitar and bass. After college Mike started his own recording studio, which evolved into his production company, M.J. Productions, where he produced many TV shows, radio ads, and commercials. Mike was well known for his humorous Rex TV and appliance commercials and was always pleasantly surprised when people would recognize his voice wherever he went. He created the concept of Book TV, which later took off as cable TV became more popular. He later changed his career to building websites and enjoyed the new creative challenges that it offered him and the relationships he built through the years. His friends and family will always have a memory that includes laughing until it hurt, as his sense of humor was unique.
Mike requested that no formal services be held and his family asks that you light a candle in his memory and wish him well on his journey.
