Michael Harold Holz, 76 of Dayton, passed away on February 15, 2019 at Dayton VA Medical Center.
He was born on April 10, 1942 to Harold and Norma (Montgomery) Holz in Dayton, Ohio.
Michael worked as an attorney in Dayton for over 50 years.
He married Patricia A. (Woodward) Holz in December 2005.
He was a member of many organizations including MENSA, Bar Association (over 50 years), Veterans, and Animal organizations and others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; step-sons, Bryan W. Lau, Matthew R. Lau, and John G. Lau; aunt, Olive Myers; uncle, Herb and Judy Montgomery of Indiana; and cousins, Douglas Kromer of North Carolina, and Dennis Kromer of Oregon, Cathleen Rice and Eddie of Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 18, 2019, 1:00 pm, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church ( 33 W Dixon Ave, Dayton, OH 45419). Military honors will open the service at 1:00 pm and a reception will follow services until 3 pm.
Memorial suggestions are to the Humane society, Sisca, or any medical charity.
