Michael Scott Haws, "Mike," age 66 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was born July 25, 1957.

Mike graduated from West Carrollton High School Class of 1976. He retired as a tool and pattern maker from Advanced Engineering, formerly Air City Models and Tools. Mike's craftsmanship and skills, learned from his father, were admired by all. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and commitment that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Mike enjoyed coaching his children in their younger years, exemplifying his love of sports. His greatest joys were cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. He was also an avid fisherman and loved being on the water. Most importantly, Mike loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his mother, Barbara Haws; wife, Karla Schiller; children, Benjamin (Nicole) Haws and Melissa Haws; grandchildren, Jackson, Carter, Liv, and Emmy; siblings, Jim (Denise) Haws, Lisa (Carl) Lee, and Kathy (Paul) Cagle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, William K. Haws.

A mass will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Henry Catholic Church (6696 N. Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449).
