Michael J. Gyurkan "Lil Mikey", 25, of Tipp City, passed away February 21, 2014. Born September 19, 1988 in Dayton.
Mikey was a free spirited soul and a loving father. He was very artistic, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and aspired to be a standup comic. Mikey loved all genres of music and was actively mentored by Pastor Wesley McCoy of Triumphant Ministries, Troy.
Mikey is survived by his, parents Michael A. and Dawn Gyurkan; daughter, Mikayla Gyurkan; brothers and sisters, Alexis Metz and her father, James Metz, Lauren Gyurkan, Tabetha Kohler, JonJon and Krissi Biggs; grandmother, Clara Gyurkan; step-father, Jonathan Biggs; step-mother, Bev Simmons; aunts and uncles, Teresa and James Caprul, Dana Puckett, Pam Puckett; numerous nieces, nephews, family and many good friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred and Kenneth Puckett, Mike Gyurkan; step-sister, Crystal Metz; uncle, James LeMaster.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
Burial in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fifth Third Bank in Michael Gyurkan's name.
