Michael James Green, 67, of Dayton, passed away on July 19, 2018 at home.
He was born on January 28, 1951 to Nehemiah and Jennetta Green in Dayton, OH.
Michael worked as a cook for El Meson. He also did maintenance and landscaping for most of his life.
He was the drummer for several local bands in the 70's.
Michael is survived by his loving Partner, Darlene White; Daughter, Dionne Green; Father, Nehemiah; Brothers, Danny Green (Regina), Kenneth Green (Anita), and Maurice Green; Sister, Linda Green Davis; 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends.
He was preceded in death by his Son, Michael Green, Jr.; Daughter, Tanya Green; and Mother, Jennetta Green.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018, 10:00 am at the Greater Allen AME Church (1620 W 5th St, Dayton, OH 45402), with
Funeral services at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow immediately after at West Memory Gardens.
