GLITHERO, Michael, age 65, of Beavercreek, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Paulene Glithero.
Michael is survived by his sons, John Glithero and Christian (Shelly) Glithero; grandchildren, Anna and Jonathan Glithero, and Jessica Quatman; brothers, Pat (Nancy), Tom (Sue), Bill (Joyce), and Jim (Shayne) Glithero; nieces, Kristina and Amanda Glithero, Kristen (Adam) Schmiedeknecht, Amanda Meath, Kayla Peyton, and Ahbleza (Ben) Boltinghouse; nephews, Asa Hurd, Dustin Coffey, and Christian Coffey-Buttitta; grand-niece, Samantha Meath; grand-nephews, Jack Schmiedeknecht and Jeremiah Hurd, as well as girlfriend, Martha Pena.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired after 43 years of service.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
