Michael S. Gallon

Michael S. Gallon, a dedicated firefighter and EMT, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on May 5, 1954, Michael lived a life marked by his unwavering commitment to serving his community and his compassionate nature.

Michael was well-respected in his profession, known not only for his skilled response to emergencies but also for the kindness he extended to those he served. His colleagues admired his thoughtfulness and dedication, which defined his approach to both his career and everyday interactions.

Outside of his professional life, Michael was an avid reader, often immersing himself in books that broadened his horizons. A true animal lover, he nurtured a strong bond with animals throughout his life, showcasing his gentle spirit and caring nature. He attended Trotwood Church of the Brother, where he found solace and community.

Michael leaves behind his loving sisters, Victoria Gallon and Sharon Gallon, along with her husband Michael. He is also survived by four nephews: Benjamin, Jonathan, Bradley, and Spencer. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by numerous friends in Dayton and Trotwood, who were touched by his warmth and generosity.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Elton and Rosemary Gallon, and his brother, Matthew Gallon. 

As we remember Michael S. Gallon, we celebrate a life dedicated to service, kindness, and care and love for family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, as he made a lasting impact on the hearts of many.
