Michael Farmer

Michael "Mike" Francis Farmer, age 70, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on November 13, 2023. He was born on December 13, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frank J. and Virginia C. Farmer.

Mike is survived by his daughters Amanda (Robert) Elliott and Sarah (Tad) Burchett; sister Deborah DeCurtins; grandchildren Ava and Isaiah Elliott; step grandchildren Dalton Burchett and Darian Wagner; four great grandchildren; Aunt Helen Miltner; niece Abbey DeCurtins and nephew Zack DeCurtins; numerous cousins, and close friends.

Mike was a proud graduate of Archbishop Alter High School, class of 1971, where he made some of his best memories on the football field. Over the years, he enjoyed attending class reunions and could often be seen in the stands supporting the Knights during football season. He attended the University of Cincinnati, where he also played football. Mike worked in construction as a home builder and contractor for over 35 years in the Dayton area. He spent the last ten years overseeing the Centerville Rod and Reel Club.

Mike had many friends whom he enjoyed conversing and reminiscing with. He loved, and was loved. Mike will be dearly missed, but will continue to live on through the hearts and memories shared by those who knew him.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 10 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Centerville, with a luncheon to follow.
