Michael Abraham Falugi

Michael Abraham Falugi, age 66, of Centerville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 3rd, 2019. Michael was born on February 16, 1953 in Bikfaya, Lebanon. He was the son of Melhem and Alice (Chantiri) Faloughi. Michael would later marry Jocelyne Hachem on September 1, 1990 in Lebanon and together they had three beautiful daughters.

Michael received his Master's Degree from the University of Dayton in mechanical engineering. For over 30 years he has been an aerospace engineer for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Michael was a member of the Church of the Incarnation and the St. Ignatious Church in Centerville, Ohio. As he had a passion for art, Michael was a member of the Contemporary Dayton (Visual Arts Center). He was also previously a member of Toast Masters.

In his spare time, Michael enjoyed painting colorful abstract art and nature scenes and also enjoyed writing poetry. As a result, Michael had a book published containing his art paired with his poetry. He also loved classical music, instilling a love for it in his daughters at a young age. To relax, he enjoyed taking walks and hiking with Jocelyne and his girls.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Jocelyne; daughters, Christina Jessica Falugi of Houston, TX, Carole Angela Falugi of New York City, NY and Joelle Andrea Falugi of Columbus, OH; brothers, Joseph Faloughi and Michel Faloughi of Bikfaya, Lebanon.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville, Ohio. A funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following the visitation. Michael's burial will take place at a later date in his home country of Lebanon.
