Michael Day

Michael Wayne Day of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away suddenly on May 18, 2016 after a lengthy battle with his health.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Carol; children: Brandon (Jennifer) Tipton and Stacey (Michael) Reitz; grandchildren: Jace, Carter, Hudson and little miss Brinley; brothers: Larry (Kathy) Day and Dwain Day; sisters: Gail (Bill) Baker and Barbara (Hal) Patton; and Warren Tate, who was a friend that never left his side. Mike will also be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Mike loved the outdoors and life itself. He will be missed by all that knew him. We love you Mike, our hearts are aching, but we know you fought a Good Fight.

The funeral procession will form at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. A graveside service with military honors by the United States Army will be held at 3:00 pm at Dayton National Cemetery.
