McKinney, Michael David, age 18, former student of Stebbins High School, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. Michael was born October 27, 1994 in Dayton, OH. Michael is preceded in death by his Memaw Jan Senter, Granny Hester Walton Marple, grandma, Carol McKinney, and uncle, Mike McKinney.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Ullrich McKinney (David Hill); son, Michael Matthew McKinney; sister, Kathrynne Louise McKinney; aunt, Kris Ullrich; cousins, Kaitlyn Ullrich, Jessica (Jerrod) Fisher, Erik Ullrich, and Tara Cox; aunt, Amy (Jamie) Coleman; cousins, Elizabeth and Emily Coleman; aunt, Emily Ullrich; Papaw Gene Senter; grandpa, Bob Ullrich; special God Parents, John and Kimberly (Young) Leis; grandma, Shirley Young; second fathers, Ron May and Jeff Ensor; special step-mother, Robin McKinney along with her sons Nicholas and Zachary with whom he was very close; girlfriend and mother of his son, Destiney Clontz, as well as biological father, Jeff McKinney and his extended family, including close cousin, Mikey Angel and friends.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his son, hanging out with his cousins, and playing video games. He also loved playing Chess and had a strong love for history. He loved learning about German culture. Michael will always be remembered for his hard work and his dedication to his family, and was especially dedicated to his son.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, with funeral services following at 8:00 pm. If desired, donations may be made to Donate Life, National Alliance on Mental Illness, or Suicide Prevention Center in Michael's memory.
