Michael David "Mason" Adkins, age 68, of Celina, OH passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
He was born January 12, 1943 in Morehead, KY to the late James Coy & Ethel Laura Adkins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Harrier; and brother, Howard Leon Adkins.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Carol "Kay" Adkins; daughter, Michelle (John) Pinkerton; son, Mason Adkins; step-daughters, Sheila Brant and Shelley (Donnie) Myers; grandchildren, Andrew Pinkerton, Amanda Pinkerton, and Brittany (Mike) Towne; great-granddaughter, Bailey Towne; step-grandchildren, Amanda Folkerth, Joshua (Cassandra) Miracle, Joseph Miracle, and Darren Folkerth Jr.; step-great-grandchildren, Gabriel Miracle and Elika Miracle; sisters, Glida Criswell, Doris (James) Pelfrey, Ramona (Robert) Potts, and Edith (Alfred) Pence; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 1pm at Moraine City First Church of God (5867 Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449). There will be a gathering for friends and family at the church afterwards.
