Michael D. Taylor

Michael "Mike" D. Taylor, age 67 of Troy, Ohio passed away on January 11, 2025. He was born May 30, 1957 in Oxford, Ohio son of the late Viron and Peggy (Webb) Taylor.

Michael was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran who proudly served his country during the Gulf War. After departing the military he worked for Meijer, and then the Troy Post Office where he retired after many years of service. Michael enjoyed bowling, being an umpire with the USSBA, and being a karaoke host D.J. He was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals. Michael will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. 

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Taylor; nephew, Michael D. Taylor; sister-in-laws, Jowana Taylor and Theresa Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter, Memory (Justin) Weis; step- children, Andrew Fellers and Michelle Fellers; grandchildren, Emma Moore, Brandon Covrett, Mckenzey Weis, Ashton Weis; siblings, Kenneth Taylor, DeWayne (Susan) Taylor, and Rhonda (Michael) Brady; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Michael will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
