Michael Shane Cox, 45, of Oakwood, passed away on August 15, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center.
He was born on August 24, 1973 to Ronnie and Nancy Cox (Mabes) in Dayton, OH.
Shane worked as a Matre'D at Treasure Island for over 10 years where he was loved by his co-workers.
On July 22, 2016, he married John B. Hall.
Shane is survived by his loving spouse, John; father, Ronnie (Patsy) Cox; sister, Tonya Stark; friend, Wayne Morris; aunts, Jennifer Frazier, Shelia Tigner, and Stephanie Monday; cousins and other special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Cox (Mabes).
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439).
Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm, with Pastor Lori Reiber officiating.
