SMSgt Michael John "Mick" Cole, age 77 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at River Oaks Alzheimer's Special Care Center. He was born on January 18, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William and Katherine Cole.
Mick is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Linda Cole; son, William "Billy" Cole; daughter, Jacqueline Thomas; bonus children, James Hurt and Susan Neeley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mick served 26 years in the United States Air Force and he was honorably discharged. After retiring from active duty, Mick took several occupations to keep himself busy until he reached retirement age. His favorite things to do during his spare time was to go to the movies, deep sea fishing, and spending much of his spare time with his family.
The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public memorial service, individuals and families are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
