Michael E. Close, age 60 of West Milton, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born September 28, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of James Close and Elizabeth Brantley.
He is preceded in death by his father, James W. Close; and brother, Steven J. Close.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael J. Close; sisters, Kathryn Close, Deborah Thomley; nephews, Matthew Close, Justin Thomley; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Michael is a veteran of the United States Army.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10:15 am at Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W. Third Street, Dayton OH 45428).
