Michael Daniel Cassity Sr.

Cassity, Michael Daniel Sr., age 67, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky on November 9, 1951 to the late Bobby J. and Doris June Cassity (nee Daniels).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Haines. Michael is survived by his beloved sons, Paul Anthony (Elizabeth) Clifton and Michael Daniel (Melissa) Cassity, Jr.; daughter, Deandra (Brian) Simpson; girlfriend, Julee Hanks; grandchildren, Alicia Clifton, Caleb Clifton, Reggie (Julianna) Duncan, Ray (Macey) Duncan, Johnna Cassity, Shea Cassity, Rachel (Justin) Gruelle, Corey (Paige) Simpson, and Jacob Simpson; five great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa Cassity; and a host of other family members and friends.
Michael served in United States Air Force and was a member of Local 18 Ohio Operating Engineers for many years. He was passionate about the great outdoors and when he wasn't spending his time with his family, he was enjoying hunting and fishing.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm.
