Michael Jon Burgess
January 18, 1946 — December 9, 2020
Michael Jon Burgess, age 74 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 18, 1946 in Huntington Station, New York, the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Burgess.
Michael is survived by his children, daughter, Andrea and husband Timothy Swartzfager, son, Shawn Burgess, daughter, Monica and husband Gabriel Dixon; brother, Robert Carmody and wife Marion Burgess; and grandchildren, Emma & Nick Swartzfager, and Levi Dixon.
Michael earned his Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Park's University in St. Louis, MO. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was also employed as a Program Manager with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The memories, laughs, & smiles he made with loved ones will be forever cherished.
