Brennan, Michael J. Sr., 68, of Farmersville, passed away suddenly on June 28, 2017.
Mike retired in 2006 from GM/Moraine after 37 years of service. He loved puttering around his barn, working on cars, playing cards and taking care of his family. Mike was known as the family handyman. He was "a grizzly bear on the outside and a teddy bear on the inside".
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Brennan and his parents, Richard and Mary Brennan. He is survived by his son, Mic Brennan; his daughter, Tina Smith; two granddaughters, Kylea Smith, Jessica Packard; and his loving companion, Deborah Wilder. Mike is also survived by his brothers, Daniel, Kevin and his wife, Karen; sister, Kathy; sisters in law, Pam, Sheree Berry, Carol Winters, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation 5:00pm until 7:00pm Monday, July 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., where service will follow at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
