Michael J. Battaglia Sr.

Michael J. Battaglia Sr., age 96 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 27, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late John and Consetta Battaglia.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael J. (Leslie) Battaglia Jr., Andrew Battaglia, Consetta (Michael) Ruffin, Adele Miesmer, Lesa (Gabriel) Millett, Rosemarie (Bruce) Rinderle, and Carla (Charley) Greene. Michael is also survived by his sister, Pauline Battaglia Drerup.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Battaglia; brothers, August Battaglia and Jack Battaglia; and sister, MaryJo Battaglia Chalfant.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio 45459). A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, followed by a wake at St. Francis of Assisi immediately after the burial.
