Michael A. Dameron

Michael Anthony Dameron, age 48, was diagnosed with cancer on June 14, 2014 and passed away on May 6, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born in Dayton, OH to Alleda Maxwell and the late Michael G. Dameron.

Michael is survived by mom, Alleda Maxwell; sister, Lori Hawkes (Jeff); daughter, Ayla Lauren Dameron and son, Michael A. Dameron Jr.; the mother of his children, April Dameron; grandchildren, Hayden, Aubrey and Adalynn; niece, Kyra; beloved aunts, Charlene, Kathy, Pam and Jennifer; cousin, James and numerous other cousins, in-laws and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Thelma Hawkins, William Jesse Kincaid and Lena and Chuck Dameron; also aunts, Judy Moore and Brenda Williams and step-father, Jimmy Maxwell.

Michael worked mostly in retail, but he was very creative and his passion was for drawing, design and woodworking. He also loved the outdoors including yardwork, camping, fishing and hiking. Michael loved simple pleasures and always stated his needs were few. Michael was a loving and caring man who loved his family more than anything else. He always had a great sense of humor and brought much entertainment to his family as a child and as an adult. He was very much loved and everyone knew when you were loved by him. He was a loving son, father, brother, nephew and grandchild and everyone always adored him. He had a smile that lit up the room. He will be missed so much and will always be in our hearts. We will treasure his memory forever.

At his request Michael will be cremated and a memorial service will be a family Celebration of Life at his home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
