Merrill Leatherman

LEATHERMAN, Merrill, age 75 of Kettering, passed away Mon., April 26, 2004 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Willie Mae Leatherman. Merrill is survived by his wife Betty, to whom he was married 55 years; 1 daughter Linda Haller (Peter); 2 sons Larry Leatherman (Carol) and David Leatherman of CA; 3 loving granddaughters Jennifer of CA and Anna and Allison; dear friend Shirley Carpenter and many other relatives and friends. He had retired from G.M. after 39 1/2 years of service, was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church, enjoyed sports and going to auctions and he loved his Lord, his church and his family. Funeral services 10 A.M., Mon., May 3, 2004 at Southern Hills United Methodist Church, 2287 S. Dixie Dr., Kettering. Rev. Dean Penrod officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 - 4 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be made to the Southern Hills United Methodist Church in Merrill's memory.
