WEIS, Merlin R. "Pudge", 76, of Centerville, passed away November 13, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Ruth (Ryenolds) Weis and his first wife, Mary Lou Weis. He is survived by his wife, Mary Weis; sons, Charles and wife Judy Weis, Raymond Weis, Donald Weis; stepdaughters, Connie Flickinger, Vicki Donathan and husband Harvey, Shellie Campbell and husband James and stepson, Charles Hurd. He is also survived by his special granddaughter, MacKenzie Weis; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great,great-grandchild; sisters, Donna Robinett, Ruth Sempsrott; brother, Paul Weis and wife Bertchie; special niece, Sharon Louallen; 9 nieces and nephews and special friends, Clarence Johnson and Rick Stamps. Pudge was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the American Legion, Eagles, Elks, Moose, V.F.W., Shamrock Club and the Masonic Lodge in Lebanon. He loved working in his yard and working on cars. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday, November 17, 2004. Interment will be at Turtle Creek Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
