Merle L. Wright

WRIGHT, Merle L., age 85, of Riverside passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008. She was born in Phyllis Kentucky on November 10, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Clayton M. Wright; parents Miles and Polly Reynolds; brother Ervel Reynolds; and sister Clara Dawson. Merle is survived by her daughter Catherine Courter and her husband, Joseph, and daughter Barbara Courter and her husband, Ronald; granddaughter Laura Crouse and her husband, Dave, and children Wade, Kyndra, Jacob, and Lyndsey, grandson Scott Courter and his wife, Lisa, and daughter Natalie, granddaughter Amy Underwood and her husband, Tom, and daughters Saxony and Marisa, grandson Rusty Courter and Victoria Matthews, granddaughter Bridget Courter and her fiancé, Terry Bartlett; sisters Edith Roberts, Zelda Bertrand; brothers Perry Reynolds, and Frennie and sister-in-law Josie Reynolds; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Merle was a member and active volunteer of St. Helen Parish. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Friday January 25, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Helen Parish in Riverside on Saturday January 26, 2008 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Retired Religious.
