Meretta Westray

Westray (Gibbs), Meretta (Missy) 83 of Dayton passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023 While under care at Hospice Of Dayton.She was born on August 13, 1940. She loved attending church and being with her family. She spent many years as a school bus driver, a secretary, and a home health aide. She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Carrie Gibbs (Woods), her brothers Larry and JR, her sister Henrietta, Her husband Wayne Westray, and her beloved Son Jeff Rogers. She is survived by her sister Wanda Bilbrey, and her brother Danny Gibbs. Her grandchildren Norma Jeane (Axel) Rogers-Parks, And Alec (Gail) Ruden, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Memorial service to follow at 3 PM.
