Meredith "Carl" Spurr

Meredith Carl Spurr, age 80 of Enon, passed away on November 19, 2011. He was born September 28, 1931 in Clarksburg, WV, to the late Donald and Thelma Spurr. Carl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Spurr; two daughters, Teresa (Steve) Wyer and Carla (Paul) Carlson; three grandchildren, Mark, Tracy and Sam; sister, Juanita Gaines; and many other good friends. Carl honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years. He was also a member of both the Enon and Midlake Lions Clubs. A funeral service will be held on Monday November 28, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 12:30-1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
