Melvin Gordon Yearick

Yearick, Melvin Gordon age 78, of Enon, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born in Columbus, Indiana on December 11, 1942 to the late Harry Gordon and Willie Mae Yearick (nee Williamson).
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Yearick.
Melvin is survived by his son, Bryan (Susan) Yearick; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Heather, Scot, and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Tabitha, Melanie, and Hunter; sisters, Linda (Mike) Jones and Bonnie (William) Bernet; companion, Sharlene Pederzani; former spouse, Sandra Yearick; and a host of other family members and friends.
Melvin was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of Greene County Fish & Game Association for many years and competed at a high level of marksmanship. Melvin was also a caretaker of a historical cabin at Caesars Creek Pioneer Village. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a craftsman in woodworking, metalwork, and jewelry making. Melvin was always ready to lend a helping hand to others in need.
Family will be holding a Celebration of Life Memorial Service outdoors in the spring or summer of 2021. More information will be posted once final.
