Melvin Stacy

Melvin Stacy, age 82 of Miamisburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born on November 18, 1938 in Lynchburg, Ohio to the late Amiel and Lillian Stacy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deloris Jean Stacy; grandson, Jason Stacy and three siblings.

Melvin is survived by his four children, Troy (Stella) Stacy, Anthony (Sandra) Stacy, Michael (Christy) Stacy and Rose Leonhardt; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marla Rausch and Juanita (Dean) Erbaugh; Brother-In-Law, James D. (Jan) McKinney. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.


Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Kettering chapel with burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio. Any and all are welcome to reminisce with the family following the funeral at Deer Run Lodge 10489 Dayton Cincinnati Pike, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.
