Age 66, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011, at The Hospice of Dayton.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Estill & Bernita (Mead) Masters; and by three brothers, Kenny, Gerry and Junior Masters.
Melvin is survived by his wife of the past 38 years, Rebecca A. Masters; one daughter, Jo Ann Thames; four grandchildren, Cody, Nicholas, Kaetlyn & Brendan; one sister, Bonnie (Jim) Yates; two brothers, Bobby (Jo) Masters & Tom (Judy) Masters; and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday (10/20) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Melvin to The Hospice of Dayton.
