Age 46, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011.
Melvin was preceded in death by his father, Melvin E. Dixon; one sister, Cheryl Williams; and by his beloved canine companion, Hoya.
He is survived by his mother, Zadia M. (Brown) Dixon; two sisters, Marcia Dixon & Felonda Dixon-Allen; one brother, Eric Dixon; nieces, nephews and by his extended family & many good friends.
Melvin was a bouncer at Taggart's Pub and previously a sales associate at Bachrach's Fine Men's Clothing Store.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday (2/25) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A celebration of Melvin's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home where family & friends will be invited to share their memories and stories.
