Age 21, went home to be with the Lord on the January 28, 2010. Melissa was born April 6, 1988 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and grew up in Dayton Ohio. Melissa attended East Dayton Christian School and Graduated from T.C.H.S. She enjoyed her time spent watching movies and snuggling by the fireplace with her husband, with whom she loved and was devoted. Melissa was a wonderful Godly lady who spent much of her time organizing fundraiser fashion shows to benefited less fortunate children. Melissa loved reading, designing clothes, fashion and shopping. She impacted so many lives with her passion for life and a heart full of love for God. Even though life brought her many challenges, Melissa was the most positive person you would ever meet. Melissa is survived by her beloved husband, Benjamin Jones; mother and father, Dorothy and Dale Stover; sister Jennifer Stover; grandmother Mary Burcham; & grandfather John Stover both of Akron, OH.; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Melissa will also be greatly missed by her devoted dog, Dolce. Melissa was preceded by death by her grandfather Joseph Burcham & grandmother Freda Stover. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dayton Children's Medical Center Hematology/Oncology for their 21 years of caring, love and compassion. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Wed. Feb. 3 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. A celebration of Melissa's life will be held at 10:00AM, Thurs. Feb. 4 at Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd, Vandalia.
