On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Melissa Marie “Wade” Jones passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side after a brief illness at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. Born November 2, 1969, in Zanesville to James E. Jr., and Helen M. “Curtis” Wade. Melissa was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, several aunts, and uncles.

She graduated from Xenia High School and went on to Central State University to receive her bachelor’s degree. Melissa was a faithful member of Glory Ministries Church in Xenia Ohio.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughters; Alyssia and Aliyah Jones, grandchildren; Jaylin and Amiyah, stepson; John Jones and children, parents; James and Helen Wade, sister; Lovella (Tawana) Wade; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

You may call on the family Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 12 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Rev. Dr. Gloria Wade Dillon officiating. Melissa will be laid to rest Friday, June 7, 2024, in Woodlawn Cemetery Zanesville, Ohio. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Beavercreek, Ohio is serving the family.
