Melissa Gard

Melissa Louise Gard, age 49 of Dayton, passed away November 24, 2019. She was born December 6, 1969 in Dayton, Ohio to Richard Vaughn and Cora Vaughn, who both survive. Missy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mam-mam Turner; and grandson, Dustin Gard Jr.

In addition to her parents, Missy is survived by her son, Dustin Gard; daughter, Samantha Gard (Roger Norman); grandchildren: Anthony, Colton, Mason, Daniel, Brennen, Madison, Keith and one on the way; sisters and brothers: Brandy, Heather, Tim, Toby and Rick; father of her children: Robert Gard; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Missy loved roses, animals and enjoyed writing in her journal. More than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren.
