Melissa Mae Fugate, age 48 of Dayton, passed away December 19, 2019. She was born August 2, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio. Missy was preceded in death by her father, Tommie Fugate; step-father, Doug Slye; and grandparents: Donna & Darrell Fugate and Clara & Hobart Isaacs.
Missy is survived by her mother and step-father, Nora and Steve Nichols; brothers and sisters: Thomas Fugate, Pamela Brown, Marshal Aikins and Clint Aikins; aunts and uncles: Patricia & Bill Stephenson, Brenda & Ronnie Ludwig, Bill & Margie Isaacs, James Isaacs & Dannie Sharp, Jane & Craig Looper; and numerous friends at Residential Home Association, where Missy resided for many years.
Missy was a member of Linden Avenue Baptist Church; was a child of God; loved butterflies and Elvis Presley.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Linden Avenue Baptist Church, 101 Linden Avenue, Dayton. Pastor Pam Wantz officiating.
