SHERMAN, Melba, age 69, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Sherman. Melba is survived by her children, Gary Sherman (ex-wife, Robin) and Deloris Smallwood (fiancé, Jim Miller); grandchildren, Gary James II, Joshua Lee and Joey Alan Sherman, Nathan Eugene and Autumn Ann Smallwood, Cody Shawn and Nicole Marie Gosnell; great grandchild, Colton, and siblings, Eugene, Buford and Huey of Dayton and Beatus of Rogersville, TN, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek with funeral services following at 6:00 pm. Burial will be in Conway, SC.
