On Sunday, September 23, 2018, Megan Lynn Alsup, mother of two children, passed away at the age of 33. Megan was born on March 19, 1985 in Dayton,OH to Darlene Alsup and Robert Christman.
Megan loved to make people laugh and was the life of the party. She was a very intuitive and spiritual person. She was an avid music lover and had an appreciation for vinyl albums. She enjoyed going to concerts with her friends and loved ones. She loved being outdoors; fishing and visiting the backwoods of Kentucky.
Megan was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Howard & Virginia Stamper, fraternal grandfather, Charles Christman.
She is survived by her son, Leland Matthew Alsup; daughter, Layla Louise Marie Alsup; mother, Darlene Alsup; father, Robert Christman; siblings, Matthew Stamper, Renee Alsup, and Ashley (David) Jorgenson; grandmother, Alice "Marilyn" Christman; half-sister, Bobbi Nichole Christman; niece, Addison; nephews, Nathan, Layne, Aiden, and Devin; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 at Newcomer - North Chapel from 5pm - 7pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Newcomer at 11am, family will greet loved ones for one hour prior (10am-11am).
