Mechel L. Dean

Mechel L. Dean, 70, went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. Mechel is survived by her loving husband Robert Dean 40 years. Mechel is also survived by many friends and family. She will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bud and Nell Pritchard and siblings Paulette Combs and Greg Pritchard.

Mechel was a lover of photography and traveling, especially the beach. She would spend time admiring her yard with all of the flowers. She was a lover of nature and her dogs, Grey, Doc, Belle and Little Girl. The most important things to her were her family, friends and her faith.

She trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior; and was a long time member of the Charity Baptist Church where she and Bob were baptized.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Friday June 9, 2023 at 10 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest on a later date at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
