Mc "Shotgunpete" Cantrell

Cantrell, MC "Shotgun Pete", age 68, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Grandview Hospital. He was born February 16, 1940 in Livingston, TN, the son of the late John Mitchel & Lora Bertha Cantrell. MC retired from the Chrysler Corp. after 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Lela Cantrell; children, Christopher (Sonia) Cantrell, Sr., Matthew Cantrell, Stephen Cantrell, and Willarda Colton, all of Dayton; grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Gabriel, Hannah, Ashley, Daniel, Morgan, and Owen; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Kimes (Lucille) Cantrell of Dayton, Glenn (Shirley) Cantrell of Indiana, & Lester (Carol) Cantrell of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
