Maynard Miller

MILLER, Maynard E., age 71, of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 17, 2006. He was born July 26, 1934 in Webster Springs, WV, the son of Bryan S. and Orpha (Skidmore) Miller. Maynard retired from the Dayton Daily News where he worked for many years as a typesetter and was a lifetime member of the AMVETS. He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ramona and Maynard Watkins of Tipp City, Sandra and James O'Dell of Waverly, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by both parents. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with visitation 1 hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
