Maxine Ward, age 89, of Fairborn passed away December 22, 2017.
She was born June 6, 1928 in West Virginia to the late Mary and Pete Colaric.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Glen Swiger and Frank Ward; 2 sons Richard and Glen Swiger.
She is survived by her daughters Frances Green and Sharon Sautner; 6 grandchildren Marion Severs, Glen Swiger, Jr., Aaron Sautner, James Green, Jr., Christopher Sautner and Frank Swiger; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great child; and many other family and friends.
Maxine was a very strong woman and loved her family dearly.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Maxine's family will greet friends from 1-2:00 pm at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment in Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maxine's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
