Maximilian J "Max" Gross, age 31, of Dayton, passed away suddenly on June 26, 2024. Max was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 30, 1993 to Mark and Mary Gross of Beavercreek, Ohio.
Max attended Parkway Elementary School and in 2006, moved to Wentzville, MO and graduated from Holt High School, Class of 2012.
Max was known for his kind heart, quick wit and infectious smile. Max touched the hearts of those who knew him and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Max has numerous friends from his childhood in Beavercreek, friends in Missouri where he lived for 14 years, to Madeira Beach, FL, where he last resided.
He was loved by all that call him friend "best" and he loved them all like family. Max has the kindest heart and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Max is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Macke (KY) and grandmother, Barbara (Thompson) Macke of Beavercreek.
He leaves behind his loving family, parents, Mark and Mary Ann (Macke) Gross of Wentzville; MO; brother, Matthew Gross of Kettering, OH; his paternal grandparents, Michael J. Gross Sr. and Mary Lou (Stoeve) Gross of Madeira Beach, FL (Beavercreek); uncles, Michael J. Gross Jr. of Dayton and Steve (Susan) Macke of PA, numerous cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:30am on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek), where funeral services will be held at 11:30am. Max will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
