Max F. Viney, age 79 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Kindred Hospital. He was born January 20, 1938 in Yeoman, Indiana to the late Fred and Donna Viney.
Max proudly served his country for 9 years in the U.S. Army and 12 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1977. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Colony Club of Dayton for many years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to fly remote control airplanes in his younger years. He enjoyed yearly fishing trips to Dale Hollow, TN with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mitsuko Viney and siblings, Norma Cauble, Harold Viney, Lois Turner, Roger Viney, Lloyd Viney and Floyd Viney.
Max is survived by his son, Max F. Viney, Jr. and sisters, Phyllis Cadwallader, Nancy Norman and Sheriel Weaver.
Family will receive friends Friday, June 30, 2017 from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424. To leave a special memory for the family, please click on "Share Memories".
