CRAUN, Max
Age 71, passed away September 24, 2014 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born and raised around Fletcher, OH.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lavina Craun; children, Jonella Anderson and Max Craun, Jr.; 1 granddaughter; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sharmon Craun; children, Clara (Tom) Anderson of Piqua, OH, Barb (Chet) McGlaughlin, Holli (Kevin) Suhl, Heather Ortiz, Ben Lucas all of Amarillo, TX; and Forrest (Sheryl) Craun of Bradford, OH; sister, Clara Ward; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Max was a loving and hardworking husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, playing corn hole, and was the biggest Chicago Cubs fan ever. He and Sharmon attended Madison Ave 1st Church of God in Piqua.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Madison Ave First Church of God, Piqua, OH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Hospice of Dayton or to the church.
