Max Harrison Leary

Max H. Leary, age 87, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, December 7, 2009. He was born September 1, 1922 in Ollie, Iowa to the late Oris H. and Laura Belle Leary. Max served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII, where he was stationed in the Pacific Theater. He retired from WPAFB after 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth, Louise and Mildred and brother, Paul. Max is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen Leary; children, Sharon (William) Snyder, Colleen Hayes, Sean Patrick Leary and Matthew Duncan; granddaughter, Aimee (Robert) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Lindsey Thomas and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
