Max Furrer

FURRER, Max E., age 72, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bessie Furrer and wife, Kathleen Furrer. Max is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Walker, Christine (Dave) Britton, and Susan Furrer; grandchildren, Seth and Nathan Walker and Leila and Cecelia Britton and Nonie, Gigi, and Nico Furrer, and siblings, John (Carol) Furrer and Donna Camery.

He was a Major in the U. S. Air Force and retired after 22 years of service. Max will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor, love for fishing, and devotion to his wife, Kathleen. Special thanks to the staff at Otterbein and Hospice of Dayton.

Family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek with services following at 1:30 pm. Burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer's Association (Miami Valley Chapter).
