Maudie M. Conn

Maudie Madeline Conn, born December 20, 1933 to Cynthia and Henry Gillum, joined the Lord on July 31, 2023. Maudie had three children: Cindi Watson & husband Lowell, Lora Baker & late husband Michael, and Jeffrey Hamilton & fiance, Kathy Whiteman. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Maudie worked in retail most of her years, owning Notters Market in Crystal Lake, Ohio and Lake Panasoffkee Market in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. Her idea of relaxation was remodeling a house or making quilts.

Maudie was very proud of her children and family, and she enjoyed spending free time in her garden. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio, where her funeral service will begin at 1:00pm.

Maudie will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery at a later date with her late husband, Dewy Conn.
