Matthew Scott Wallace, age 31, of Dayton, passed away April 4, 2020. He was born May 6, 1988 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Matthew attended Belmont High School and Lincoln Tech College graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice.

He loved to help anyone who needed it, often times helping his landlord with odd jobs around the house. In his free time Matthew loved to play basketball with his nephews as well as watch games on TV. He loved his Jordan shoes and hats and his Monte Carlo but most of all he loved his family and friends, especially his Uncle Hans.

Matthew was preceded in death by his aunt, Tammy Wallace, grandparents, Sammie Ledford, Roberta Ledford, Phyllis Wallace, James Wallace, nephews, Joey Baker, an Trace Josiah"Fat Fat" Montgomery and step-father, William "Bill" Lovell.

He is survived by his parents, Frances Ledford, Timothy Wallace, Sr. and wife, Ruth Wallace; brothers, Michael Lacy and Dedria Perry, Timothy Wallace, Jr and Summer Davis, Christopher Thuma; sisters, Amber Lovell and Johnny, April Johnson and De'Angelo Johnson, Amanda Lovell; aunts, Marsha Cox and husband, Gary Cox, Kim Heinlein, Lisa Morris and her husband, Tony Morris and Loretta Wallace; uncle, Sammie Ledford Jr and wife, Norma Ledford; cousins, Christy Noyes and husband, Nick Noyes, Heather Simpkins and husband, Joey Simpkins, Stephanie Norville and husband, Dustin Norville, Jade Cox; nephews, Devin Wallace, Carter Wallace, Bryson Wallace, Michael Lacy, Michael Lacy Jr., Aidan Thuma, Noah Thuma, Benjamin Thuma, Isaiah Thuma, Cullen Cox; nieces, Malayia Lacy, Kaitlyn Thuma; step-brothers, Christopher, Anthony and Sam Looyd, and several friends and loved ones.

Matthew was a fun loving, caring person whom will be missed by one and all. He had a strong opinion and was always on the go. Matthew was athletic, loved to eat and enjoyed spending time with his nephews and taking them out to do things. He loved going to the mall to shop for shoes, hats and clothes, he styled and profiled!
