Matthew Joseph Taylor, 27, passed away at his home on January 27th, 2022. He is survived by his beautiful daughters; Kaylee age 10, Honor age 5 and Beth age 3; Parents Steve and Natalie Taylor, Sisters; Stephanie (and Rick) Weston, Alisha (and Brad) Mullins. Nephews Jase and Easton Mullins, niece Reagan Weston, and girlfriend Jenna Gray.
Matthew is preceded in death by all four of his grandparents and many friends, including his best friends Zach and Colton.
He loved being outdoors and spending time with his friends, camping, fishing, canoeing and cliff jumping. Matthew loved spending time with his family; Summer pool days, Sunday dinners, or just porch sitting with his Mom and Dad. He loved his parents fiercely, enjoying just being with them and taking care of them. He loved being a brother to his Sisters and to his Brother in Laws; mainly showing that love with pranks and scares. He cherished being an Uncle, riding BMX with his nephews and
playing with his niece. Above all else Matthew loved his girls, more than anything in the world. He loved teaching them new things, taking them on walks or to jump in muddle puddles. He loved rocking them to sleep and cuddling them. He loved watching them grow. Being a dad was Matthew's greatest joy.
Matthew brought a light to the world that was unlike anything else. His absence will be felt far and wide.
Matthew has always said that in the event of his death; he just wanted a party where everyone wore jeans and hoodies:
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer of Beavercreek on Sunday February 6th, 2022 with visitation from 2-4 and a short service at 4.
Followed by his requested party at The Moose of Beavercreek at 5:30.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Matthew's name to FOA Families of Addicts or a Suicide Prevention Organization
