Matthew T. Parkes

Matthew Thomas Parkes, age 42, passed away in Dayton, Ohio on May 18, 2016. He was born to Teresa H. Green and Thomas W. Parkes on July 28, 1973 in Dayton, Ohio. Matt was kind, generous and authentic. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He took pride in his work, and loved his hobbies which included working out and running with his dogs. Matt brought joy to his family and friends and took joy in doing so. He will be greatly missed by those he leaves behind. Matt was a devoted Dad to his loving daughter, Victoria Madison Parkes. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his mother Teresa (Randy) Green; father Thomas (Marta) Parkes; two brothers Anthony (Elvia) Parkes and David Parkes. A Memorial Mass will be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Matt's honor to Hospice of Dayton or The American Cancer Society.
